If your Huawei solar system is not connected to the internet or monitoring data is no longer updating, checking the router connection settings is one of the first steps. This guide explains how to configure WLAN connection in the FusionSolar app and reconnect the device to your local Wi-Fi network. Below, you will find the official procedure for both end users and installers, including local access and router setup steps. A successful connection is confirmed when the status indicator turns green.
Huawei router connection settings – User Interface Procedure
Method 1: The mobile phone is connected to the internet
Open the FusionSolar app, log in as the owner, and from the main menu go to Services > WLAN Configuration.
Method 2: The mobile phone is not connected to the internet
Launch the FusionSolar app and, on the login screen, select WLAN Configuration.
Connect to the device
You can connect in two ways:
QR code scanning
Tap Scan. When the QR scanning screen appears, place the QR code inside the frame so the app can automatically recognize it and connect to the device WLAN.
If the login page does not open after scanning, make sure your phone is actually connected to the device WLAN. If it is not, select the WLAN manually and connect that way.
If your phone shows the message “This WLAN network has no Internet access. Connect anyway?” while connecting to the built-in WLAN, tap CONNECT. Otherwise, access to the system may not be possible. The exact wording and interface may differ depending on the mobile device.
USB connection
Tap USB connection, then choose Confirm to allow the app to use the USB accessory. If you enable Use by default for this USB accessory, the app should not ask for confirmation again the next time you log in without unplugging the cable.
Log in as User. The example below refers to the inverter interface.
If you previously changed the password and no longer remember either the WLAN password or the local app login password, a password reset will be required.
After a successful login, the app should automatically open the router settings screen.
Choose the correct WLAN network and enter the password.
Tap Connect to reconnect the device to the router.
Once the connection status changes to green, the router connection has been completed successfully.
Please note that the inverter is used here only as an example. Depending on the device, the screen layout may look slightly different.

ToggleAdditional Operations
If the app does not automatically open the router settings page after logging in locally, use the following path depending on the device:
- Wechselrichter: … > Set > Router connection settings
- SmartAssistant: Settings > Communication configuration > Router Configuration
- Charger: :: > Advanced Settings > Route Management
Installer Interface Procedure
Open the FusionSolar app and, from the login page, choose WLAN Configuration.
Connect to the device
You can connect by using either QR code scanning or USB.
QR code scanning
Tap Scan and position the QR code inside the scanning frame so the app can detect it automatically and connect to the device WLAN.
If the login page does not appear after scanning, check whether the phone has connected correctly to the device WLAN. If necessary, connect to the WLAN manually.
If the message “This WLAN network has no Internet access. Connect anyway?” appears when joining the built-in WLAN, tap CONNECT. Otherwise, the system login may fail. The exact interface and wording can vary depending on the phone model.
USB connection
Tap USB connection and then Confirm to authorize access to the USB accessory. If Use by default for this USB accessory is selected, the app may not ask for confirmation again during the next login, as long as the USB cable remains connected.
Use the Installer account to log in to the web client. The inverter is shown below as an example.
If the password was changed previously and both the WLAN password and local app password are no longer known, perform a password reset first.
After login, the system should automatically move to the router settings page.
Select the target WLAN and enter the correct password.
Tap Connect to establish the router connection again.
When the connection indicator turns green, the router has been connected successfully.
The inverter is used here only as an example. The actual interface may vary depending on the connected device.
