How to apply for Klimabonus subsidies?

    • The application for the subsidy must be submitted no later than 12 months after the last invoice issued in connection with the investment.
    • In the case of a building with at least four parking spaces, a subsidy of € 450 may be requested for preparatory work. This amount will be deducted from the subsidy amounts and ceilings for the installation of the charging point.

    • “Formulaire de demande de subvention pour une borne de charge privée – partie à remplir par le demandeur de l’aide”

For more information I can consult the corresponding regulation.

Valid for invoices dated from 2020-07-01 until 2024-12-31

What are the technical requirements for Klimabonus subsidies?

  • The charging station must be connected to the low-voltage distribution network.
  • The maximum charging power of the station is limited to 11 kW and installed by a professional electrician.
  • From 7 kW the connection to the Smart Meter is a requirement of the grid operator.
  • In the case of a building with at least four parking spaces, only OCPP charging stations version 1.6 or later are eligible.
  • With my OCPP (Open Charge Point Protocol) intelligent charging station, the communication between the charging station and a central management system is possible. This allows any type or model of charging station to be integrated into an intelligent charging management system.
  • The network manager can also intervene in case of an emergency to manage the power and temporarily reduce it or disactivate the charging station in order to avoid general failures due to network overload and thus avoid damage (e.g. failure of sensitive infrastructures such as freezers).
